CRITIQUE GROUPS

Maring Critique Group
A monthly critique group located at a private residence in Sausalito.
Meets on Mondays, 2:30 - 4:30 pm.

Each participant is invited to bring up to 3 works
in progress to be critiqued by myself and the group.
Time will be divided equally between all participants.

Participation in this critique group will be valuable for everyone who takes part. Aside from the direct feedback on your own works in progress, joining in on a discussion based on your peers' artwork will further develop your understanding of composition, process, and terminology.

$30-35 per 2-hour session

PRIVATE LESSONS

One-on-one lessons are arranged on a per-hour basis. Concepts and techniques of discussion are entirely up to the student. Students are also invited to bring in their own paintings in progress for critique.

SMALL GROUP LESSONS

Lessons with more than one student are arranged on a per-hour basis. Concepts and techniques of discussion are dependent upon the consensus of the group. Students are also invited to bring in their own paintings in progress for critique.

$25 per hour, per person (4-5 students)

STUDIO VISITS

Studio visits are arranged on a per-hour basis. This arrangement is ideal for artists who have several works in progress and could benefit from a professional critique. There is a two-hour minimum with some exceptions.
